The Place of Courage

A Community Forum to End Domestic and Family Violence

Sprit of Woman is seeking community input on a dedicated space in the South to honour and acknowledge the pain and suffering caused by Domestic and Family Violence. A public place for the community to come together, for healing and
courage for survivors and families affected by family and domestic violence.

We are creating a community based public art project. At this public forum we will be sharing the survey results, encourage the community to participate and express their needs, aspirations, inspirations and explore a suitable location.

Please join us for powerful personal and community stories, to develop our sense of compassion, humanity, and imagination about how we can create a new space to enable change in the our community. Working together we can create a new awareness, greater understanding and hope with our courage.
