Sauerbier House - Fridays by the RiverExperience Friday nights at Sauerbier House this Port Noarlunga Fringe season.

Featuring local artists, entertainers, music and comedy, Fridays by the River are the perfect way for the whole family to unwind and relax.

Food vans will be on hand to feed your hunger while arts and cultural experiences will feed your soul!

Rachel Buck - Nestle Among OnkaparingaRachel Anne Buch - Nestle in Onkaparinga

Rachel Anne Buch is a Sydney artist and current artist in residence at Sauerbier House culture exchange.

During the Fridays by the River events, Rachel will be undertaking a series of performances for children, building artworks and creative magical fictions, based on local flora, fauna, culture and history.

Each week there will be a new interactive art building performance where children will be able to play and explore tactile materials, create fun and interesting characters, and think imaginatively.

Your Fringe MCsYour Fringe Festival MCs - Friday 22 February and Friday 8 March

For our Fridays by the River events on 22 February and 8 March, we will have dynamic acting duo Rachael Horbelt and Alex Schulze as our event MCs. Alex and Rachel AKA Kath and Kim, Eddie and Patsy, or Doris and Marilyn, will engage and entertain with their captivating original productions.

Chicha Chica ElectricaChica Chica Electrica - Friday 22 February

Chica Chica Electrica are both unique and dynamic, with a promise of upbeat and danceable tunes, through to brooding tales and melodies. With twanging, surf guitar from Tsunami Steve, chunky bass from Peter ‘El Prez’ Nixon, unique, world-music inspired drumming from Chica Satomi Ohnishi and soulful lyrics and vocals from Chica Frankie.






De Greer-YindimincarlieDe Greer-Yindimincarlie – Friday 1 March

De Greer-Yindimincarlie is a proud Aboriginal woman from the Wiradjuri nation, who realised at an early age that she could play a multitude of musical instruments and that she had an eclectic musical palette.

She has played with Dan Sultan, Wolfmother, Neil Murray, Tiddas, Kev Carmody, Archie Roach and Andrew Farris. According to composer, performer and producer, Dr Michael Whiticker, “De has a creamy rich voice and is a very competent, finger style guitarist … who enriches her harmony with extended and added note chords.”



Sound FactorySound Factory – Friday 8 March

Sound Factory is a 5-piece vocal dance band, with strong roots in soul, funk, jazz, pop and groove. The band promises a dynamic and versatile line-up, covering current songs as well as classic hits from the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s.  The band features Tony Minniecon, Mitch Rosmini, Carlo Rosmini, Joe Rosmini and Gavin Cox.
