The City of Onkaparinga offers a wide range of funding opportunities to help stage festivals, events and projects which benefit our communities.

For the 2018–19 financial year, through our various grants and sponsorship programs, council has awarded more than $590,000 to support over 240 local groups, not-for-profit organisations, schools and businesses.

2019-20 Grants and Sponsorship round will open on Monday 28 January and close 5pm Tuesday 12 March 2019.

ON Business Grants*

We are also OFFER three business grants funded through the ON Business Partner Program. Grants up to the value of $3000 will be awarded in the following categories:

  • start-up businesses
  • marketing and communications
  • digital innovation projects.

*Applications for these grants are open three times a year. Please refer to the individual grant guidelines for full details.

Information Session and Grant Writing Workshops

A Grants and Sponsorship information session will be held on Thursday 31 January 2019 at the Noarlunga Civic Centre from 4-6pm. Free drop in session to answer all your grant questions.

The City of Onkaparinga offer free grant writing workshops in February each year following the announcement that our grants are open for submissions. Details on the Grants Workshops will be available in January 2019 for bookings.

Is your organisation incorporated?

If your organisation is not incorporated or not recognised as a legal entity you will need to get an incorporated organisation to auspice your project/event.

A completed auspicing form must be submitted as a part of your grant/sponsorship application.
