Native Vegetation Strategy

Image of native vegetation strategy

The City of Onkaparinga is an owner or custodian of significant areas of native vegetation within riverine corridors, coastal areas, parks, road reserves, cemeteries, Crown land and landfill sites.

The Native Vegetation Strategy outlines how Council will conserve and improve our native vegetation over the next five years. Areas covered by the plan include conservation, increasing habitats, responding to climate change and our response to fire risk. The Appendices also contain detailed information on the existing native vegetation of our region which may be of interest if you are active in bushcare or revegetation.
