Social Impact Assessment

We are experiencing rapid housing development and population growth. This will have significant implications for existing human services in the region and will require the planning and provision of services and facilities as new areas are developed.

We have prepared social impact assessments (SIA’s) for Seaford and Aldinga to examine areas where the availability of services and facilities will be affected by future population growth. These SIA’s recommend ways to address current inadequacies and future demands.

The SIA’s focus on council-owned and managed facilities as well as identifying opportunities for partnership with other organisations involved in human service delivery.
