Author’s Interior with Teapot. Cockatoo and ‘His Majesty’.

The artwork adjacent to the Mary Bywaters Memorial kindergarten is a reflection of the joy, energy and imagination of children. Who left their cup outside for a frog to jump into?

One of several authors who lived in Corn Street was Rene Powell. She wrote stories about the areas unique Marbled Frogs living in the Panatalinga Creek that runs alongside the Kindy.

The large marbled frog with the crown refers to Rene Powell's first frog, he looked so impressive and croaked so loudly that she called him 'His Majesty'.
