Don’t miss this fantastic opportunity for our local communities to come together over a free breakfast and celebrate Australia Day. Meet and connect with your community and reflect on our history, diversity, achievements and bright future. Enjoy family friendly entertainment and children’s activities.
Australia Day Breakfasts are being held at four locations across our city at:
- Symonds Reserve, Butterworth Road, Aldinga Beach
- Aberfoyle Park Hub (grassed area)
- Noarlunga Centre (Ramsay Place)
- McLaren Vale and Fleurieu Visitor Information Centre, Main Road, McLaren Vale
Bring your picnic rug or chair and join in the great atmosphere. All ages welcome.

Australia Day Bush Fair
South Adelaide Football Club Oval
Lovelock Drive, Noarlunga Downs
Saturday 26 January
5.30–9.30pm
Celebrate Australia, from the bush to the beach.
FREE family event with all FREE activities and entertainment.
Claim your spot on the oval, set up a picnic and be entertained at the main stage with Peter Combe and the Quirky Berserky Newspaper Mama band, Crowded House cover band The Finnatics and special MC Triple M’s Cosi.
Discover a variety of stalls offering local food, refreshments and wares available for purchase. There will be Aussie experiences for everyone including wood chopping, camel rides, rock climbing, sandcastles, football, native animals, face painting, Splodge kid’s activities, mini train rides and more!
Mayor Lorraine Rosenberg will present our Australia Day Awards for Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year and Community Event of the Year.
Go into the draw to win one of two iPad minis when you visit the Vox Pop marquee and tell us your aspirations and ideas for the future of arts and cultural development in our region.
South Adelaide Football Club’s licenced restaurant, Jimmy Deanes will be open. Enjoy the popular 3D fireworks* display synchronised to music.
Alcohol will not be permitted on the oval.
3D fireworks glasses will be available at the gate.
*In the case of extreme weather conditions (or other safety concerns) the fireworks display may be cancelled. Updates will be provided via our social media pages.
