The information presented here has been collected by the council as well as from other government and non-government organisations. To help you interpret the statistical information provided please read the ‘how to use statistics’ guide, which has been developed to explain some basic statistical concepts and common statistical terms.
|Corporate statistics is a collection of statistical information related to the services and operations of the council and provides a snapshot of key corporate figures for the latest financial year.|
|The Community Wellbeing Monitor utilises evidence-based research to report on the progress of community wellbeing within the City of Onkaparinga. Longitudinal trend research is reported under four determinant areas: (1) Environmental, (2) Economic development, (3) Social development and (4) Health.|
|Community Profile is an external website that allows members of the community to access detailed demographic information on the characteristics of people living in the City of Onkaparinga. The information is based on the Australian Bureau of Statistics Census of Population and Housing (the Census) and is presented in downloadable tables and charts along with concise factual commentaries. |
|Social Atlas is an external website that presents a range of social statistics from the Census in a visual format. Demographic information is captured through a number of interactive maps, each showing the different population characteristics of areas within the City of Onkaparinga.|
|Population Forecasts is an external website that provides a demographic forecast of how the population within the City of Onkaparinga is likely to change over the next twenty years. Changes to population, age structure and household types between now and 2036 are presented in downloadable tables, graphs and interactive maps. The forecast data can be viewed by small areas (suburbs), districts and city-wide. The forecasts are designed to provide the community with a better understanding of the demographic trends that are likely to affect the city in the future. |
|REMPLAN Economic profile provides economic information and analysis for the City of Onkaparinga, particularly related to workforce characteristics, industry contributions, the role of tourism and gaps in local supply. Some of the specific data reported includes employment, building approvals, income, business counts and regional imports and exports.|
