Activate Ramsay Place aims to invigorate the civic heart of Noarlunga Centre through fun, innovative and vibrant activities for all. Ramsay Place is nestled between Colonnades shopping centre, Hopgood Theatre, Noarlunga TAFE and City of Onkaparinga’s Noarlunga office.

Since the program’s inception in 2013 we have supported the community to deliver 478 activities and events which have attracted an estimated 18,000 people to Ramsay Place. We have also provided $38 000 in funding to community groups and organisations as part of the activation.

Between 9 February and 17 March 2019 Ramsay Place will again come alive with a series of fun, innovative and vibrant activities for all. There are over 60 free activities and events on offer including:

  • Southern Children’s Festival headlined by popular children’s entertainer Justine Clarke on Saturday 9 February
  • Wellbeing Expo on 7 March
  • The Amazing Drumming Monkeys Show on 10 February
  • Southside Hip-Hop Jam on 15 March featuring live aerosol art demo, DJ’s, rappers and hip-hop artists
  • Weekly busking sessions by local musicians and artists.

All events and activities are free. The Mayor will officially launch the program on 9 February at the Southern Children’s Festival.
