Ramsay Placemaking Working Group

This group was established in November 2012. Activate Ramsay Place is an initiative of Ramsay Placemaking Working Group.

Working group meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of every month. This group comprises a range of stakeholders including, Vicinity Centres Colonnades Shopping Centre, Gloria Jean’s Coffees, Country Arts SA, Vertical Freedom - Parkour group, SA Police, Bendigo Bank, Marcellin Technical College, Anglicare SA (Communities for Children), Centacare, Rotary Club of Noarlunga, Department for Education and Child Development, City of Onkaparinga, Noarlunga TAFE, Expressway Arts and Jamie Oliver's Ministry of Food.

Vision Statement

Ramsay Place is a beautiful and vibrant place, a central destination for our community.

Objective

We exist to:

3.1 provide a consultative forum that can inform and provide advice on current and future direction including managing, shaping and activation of Ramsay Place.

3.2 strengthen capacity of user groups, key stakeholders and the community to ensure improved sense of ownership and pride.

3.3 work collaboratively to share, leverage and attract resources including funding to realise the vision and objectives in the Terms of Reference.
