The City of Onkaparinga has a strong commitment to working with and providing opportunities for young people to develop their potential and participate in community life. Our approach is based on young people's strengths and interests and on providing opportunities for them to explore their passions, become fully engaged in their lives, build on skills and develop confidence and a sense of direction regarding the future.

At its meeting on 10 December 2013, the Council endorsed the Youth Strategic Management Plan 2013-18 (252K) which will assist us to work with young people to enjoy a high quality of life by feeling safe, valued and supported and have access to programs, services and events, as well as other meaningful opportunities to be active citizens.
