Mobile food vendors

Mobile food vendors - coastal locations

The City of Onkaparinga offers excellent opportunities for mobile food vending in terms of its climate, coastal setting, excellent infrastructure, as well as its diverse program of events and activities that take place throughout the year.

As part of the City-Wide Place & Business Activation Plan, the Mobile Food Vending program represents an opportunity to expand the business landscape within the region, increase visitation as well as promote the local economy.

The Mobile Food Vending program aims to:

  • Support activation of public spaces and positively contribute to the experience of a place;
  • Support a food culture in the City of Onkaparinga by attracting mobile food vendors that complement existing food and beverage businesses; and
  • Provide a platform for which entrepreneurs can trial a business idea with the possibility of transitioning from a mobile to a fixed business.
